2022秋 课程回顾

风景园林工程数字景观”是上海交通大学设计学院风景园林专业硕士国际项目)的专业选修课,由高阶风景园林工程与数字景观两部分组成。其中数字景观突出参数化思维,以算法为核心进行设计。疫情的蔓延给学校教学带来诸多不便,本学期的课程主要为线上上课。学习条件虽困难,师生仍保持教学效果与线下同质等效。在这艰难时期,风景园林国际专硕2022级的同学们通过线上评图的方式,顺利完成了课程的终期答辩。

"Landscape Engineering and Digital Landscape" is an elective course of the Master of Landscape Architecture (International Program) at the School of Design of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which consists of two parts: advanced landscape engineering and digital Landscape. The digital landscape is designed with a parametric mindset and algorithms at its core. The spread of the epidemic caused many inconveniences to the school's teaching and learning, and this semester's course was mainly online. Despite the difficult learning conditions, teachers and students ensure the same quality and equivalence with face-to-face teaching. In this difficult period, the students of the International Master of Landscape Architecture 2022 successfully completed the final defense of the course through online review of drawings.

本课程由设计学院教师朱黎青主持,设计实践导师(Teaching Fellow)付凯、Simon Yue共同指导。朱黎青,博士,上海交通大学讲师。主要研究方向是可持续风景园林设计、数字景观。付凯为FLO景观设计事务所创始合伙人。在其接近20年的设计实践中,他参与了多个国际获奖项目的设计和实施,并在英国工作的7年中作为景观设计师与诺曼-福斯特和扎哈-哈迪德等顶级建筑公司合作。Simon Yue为华东建筑设计研究总院(ECADI)国际设计中心主任。他的工作经验和建设项目遍布全球,包括美洲、欧洲、南亚和中国。
This course was hosted by Zhu Liqing, a faculty of the design school of SJTU, and jointly guided by teaching fellow, Fu Kai and Simon Yue.ZHU Liqing, Lecturer, 22 years of teaching experience at SJTU. His main research interests are sustainable landscape design and digital landscape. Fu Kai, founding partner of FLO Landscape Architects. In his nearly 20 years of design practice, he has participated in the design and implementation of many international award-winning projects and worked as a landscape designer in the UK for 7 years, cooperating with top construction companies such as Norman Foster and Zaha Hadid. Simon Yue Design director of ECADI International Design Centre. His work experience and built projects have spanned the globe from the Americas, Europe, South Asia, and China.

课程内容
本次课程研究场地位于黄浦江畔,原场地保留有大片农田景观与乡土建筑。由于疫情原因无法进行现场考察,各个小组也被允许选择其他适合的场地进行课题研究。课程前8周为数字景观模块,旨在运用参数化设计等创新方法使最终的方案兼具创意性与科学性。后8周是风景园林工程模块,其课程内容以自然场地为基础进行地形设计、场地排水、铺装设计、种植设计和水生态设计。经过16周的教学,同学们完成了出色的设计与研究,并以小组汇报的形式接受了教学成果的评价与检验。参加本次线上评图的老师:朱黎青、Simon Yue、付凯、Stanley Chuang。
The site is located on the banks of the Huangpu River, and the original site retains a large farmland landscape with vernacular architecture. Due to the epidemic it was not possible to visit the site, so the group was also allowed to choose other suitable sites. The first 8 weeks of this course was a digital landscape module, using innovative methods such as parametric design to make the final solution both creative and scientific. The second 8 weeks were a landscape engineering module, using natural sites as the basis for topography design, site drainage, paving design, planting design and water ecology design.After 16 weeks of teaching, a series of design results were formed, and the teaching results were evaluated and tested in the form of group collective report. The teachers participating are Zhu Liqing, Simon Yue, Fu Kai and Stanley Chuang.

设计场地位于上海市闵行区浦江第一湾北部,场地周边及内部分布有工厂、农田、村庄以及居民区。场地内部的河流受到周围工厂、农业和生活污水的影响,水质有待提升。同时,场地内的林地、农田和村落具有很强割裂感,需要景观设计重新进行空间的渗透和整合。该设计以未来细胞为主题,将场地内的各要素视作一个个功能各异的细胞。这些细胞在场地中有机结合成为不同的组织以解决场地现有的问题,最后形成一个完整的、具有复合性功能的器官,从而提升黄浦江沿岸滨水空间的生态价值和人文价值。

Team members: Zhou Bowen, Wu Wenchao, Yang Nan, Wu WenruiDesign content:The site of the first group is located in the north of the first bay of Pujiang River in Minhang District, Shanghai, with factories, farmland, villages and residential areas around and inside the site. The river inside the site is polluted by the surrounding factories, agriculture and life, and the water quality needs to be improved, while the woodland, farmland and villages inside the site have a strong sense of fragmentation, which needs to be re-infiltrated and integrated by landscape design. The design takes the theme of future cells and treats the elements in the site as cells with different functions. These cells are organically combined into different organizations in the site to solve the existing problems of the site, and finally form a complete organ with composite functions to enhance the ecological value and humanistic value of the waterfront space along the Huangpu River.

从平立面的五个指标——灰空间密度、影响效果、干涉变形、构筑高度、构筑密度,研究了有序城市到无序自然的演化规律,从而获得设计原型。设计方案在土地呈现、道路选线等方面展现由城市向自然逐渐舒展的过程,并在此基础上依据前期基址分析进行不同模块功能的设置。设计形成了一个兼具生态性、生产效率性、人类活动性的耦合系统,为解决城水隔离问题提出新的思路。

From the five indicators of plane and facade – density of gray space, impact effect, interference deform, construction height and construction density, the evolution law from orderly city to disordered nature is studied, then the design prototype is obtained. The design scheme shows the gradual expansion process from city to nature in terms of land presentation, road route selection, etc., and on this basis, different module functions are set according to the early site analysis. A coupling system with ecology, production efficiency and human activity has been designed and formed, which provides new ideas for solving the problem of urban water isolation.

小组成员:王浩哲、张硕羽、邹莅尧、潘昕玥设计内容:场地位于黄浦江沿岸十字河口东南侧。场地是一处航运货物存放的区域,并有一个船厂。根据前期分析,场地存在4个方面的问题,包括基础设施缺乏、游线混乱、土壤污染和文化缺失。设计希望增加游览、造船、后勤服务和绿地功能模块,并通过参数化设计,使未来的造船生产过程能够被升级并展示给游客。同时,设计将场地变成周边游客的休闲场地,打破不同场地的边界又改善了生态功能。
Team members: Wang Haozhe, Zhang Shuoyu, Zou Liyao, Pan XinyueDesign content:The site is located at the southeast side of the cross river mouth along the Huangpu River. The site is an area where shipping goods are stored and there is a shipyard. Based on the preliminary analysis, there are four aspects of the site's problems, including lack of infrastructure, chaotic tour lines, soil pollution and lack of culture. So the design wants to add functional modules for tour, shipbuilding, logistic service and green space, and through parametric design, the future shipbuilding production process can be upgraded and shown to visitors. At the same time, the design has turned the site into a leisure site for surrounding tourists, breaking the boundaries of different sites and improving the ecological functions.

小组成员:姜宇馨、陈子萌、瞿玥颖、胡莹婕设计内容:场地选址位于甘肃民勤自然保护区,自然保护区内植物种类丰富,但该地由于沙尘暴频发而危害到生态和人类生命,场地环境亟待改善。场地南侧为全国最大的沙漠——红崖山水库,但是其渠道利用效率低下。对此,设计提出三点愿景,分别是挡风固沙,恢复绿洲生态,提高灌溉效率。根据愿景制定相应策略:首先,建设防风结构和防风林;其次,优化种植模式,建立科普研究基地;最后,优化灌溉方式和农作物种植模式。在策略实施过程中,采用参数化辅助设计:如现场风环境模拟、防风模块生成、防风模块、灌渠定位等。最后,场地将成为沙漠生态试验区,并推广到周边地区。
Team members: Jiang Yuxin, Chen Zimeng, Qu Yueying, Hu YingjieDesign content:The site is located in Minqin Nature Reserve in Gansu, which is rich in plant species. However, due to frequent sandstorms, the site environment needs to be improved. To the south of the site is Hongyashan Reservoir, the largest desert in China, but its channel utilization efficiency is low. In this regard, the design puts forward three visions, namely, wind and sand fixation, restoration of oasis ecology, and improvement of irrigation efficiency. Formulate corresponding strategies according to the vision: first, build windbreaks and windbreaks; Secondly, optimize the planting mode and establish a popular science research base; Finally, optimize the irrigation mode and crop planting mode. In the process of strategy implementation, parametric auxiliary design is adopted, such as on-site wind environment simulation, wind protection module generation, wind protection module, irrigation channel positioning, etc. Finally, the site will become a desert ecological pilot area and be extended to surrounding areas.

小组成员:邓卓平、杨一尘、陈俊崎、刘一丹设计内容:为了更好地衔接黄浦江及周边兰香湖等场地,将逐渐恢复场地周边区域的自然,并以之为起点,以突出时间对场地的改变作用。河流有着更偏向自我设计的特性,所以设计采用了“起始模式”应对河流,即一个有着河流流向和制备地形的初始过程。该模式以河流为媒介,柔性改变整个场地,在一段时间内恢复河流的原始形状,进而辐射影响周边区域。
Team members: Deng Zhuoping, Yang Yichen, Chen Junqi, Liu YidanDesign content: In order to better connect the Huangpu River and surrounding Lanxiang Lake and other sites, the nature of the surrounding areas will be gradually restored, and it will be taken as a starting point to highlight the effect of time on the site. The river is more self-designed, so the design adopts the "starting mode" to deal with the river, that is, an initial process with river flow and terrain preparation. This model takes the river as the medium, flexibly changes the whole site, restores the original shape of the river within a period of time, and then radiates and affects the surrounding area.

结语
经过16周的深入指导和交流,师生们克服重重困难圆满完成了所有教学任务,取得了丰硕的成果。数字景观让同学们天马行空,风景园林工程让同学们脚踏实地。通过一次次的锻炼,同学们获得了专业能力的成长和进步。正是因为热爱才能不断坚持和努力,创作出优秀的设计作品。
After sixteen weeks of intensive instruction and communication, the teachers and students successfully completed all teaching tasks overcoming many difficulties and achieved fruitful results. The digital landscape course made the students have ridiculous thoughts, and the landscape engineering course made the students down to ground. Through one exercise after another, the students gained the growth and progress of their professional ability. It is because of the love that they can keep persisting and working hard to create excellent design works.
