课程简介

本学期，学生们研读了尤哈尼·帕拉斯玛（Juhani Pallasmaa）的经典著作《皮肤之眼：建筑与感官》。在年度项目中，他们运用人体测量学和人体工学数据，对空间展开一系列感官探索，同时融入横向思维设计策略的学习。

INTRO

In this module, students are introduced to the seminal work,‘The Eyes of the Skin: Architecture and the Senses’by Juhani Pallasmaa. For this year’s assignment, anthropometric and ergonomic data were applied through a series of sensory explorations combined with studying lateral thought principles as Design strategies.

学生们的任务是绘制需要借助多元体验方式来感知的空间地图，以此识别并解决日常空间使用中的设计参数问题。在绘制过程中，他们运用多维度的感官视角，在实践中认识城市规划的复杂性。

Students were tasked with mapping spaces which required different experiential approaches; to identify and problem solve design parameters in their immediate daily ritual use of spaces, through to application using different sensory perspectives in understanding the complexities of urban planning.

学生们将身体与建筑形式相类比，结合针对解构主义建筑运动的背景研究，以雕塑的形式构建城市，并对 “形式服从功能”的传统观念提出了挑战。

Drawing parallels with the body as architectural form, contextual research on the architectural movement Deconstructivism realized a built city through sculptural forms challenging conventional notions of form follows function.

学生们持续实践横向思维，在已勘测的城市空间中选定地点，建造了形似机器的装置，其目的是提供以人为本的感官体验——一种超越金钱交易、以资源为基础的互动模式。

By continuing to apply a practical application of lateral thought, students built machine-like-forms for a chosen location in the mapped urban space, providing a human centered sensory experience; a resource-based interactivity beyond financial transaction.

在本课程期间，大一学生们通过研究各种空间现象开展实验探索，提升了专业技能，为第二学年的学习做好了充分准备。

Studying different spatial phenomena has enabled first year students to experiment, improve their skill set and prepare to engage in their second year of study.
